Here we have my kind of push iron. Designed from the ground up to be as light as possible so when you hit the hills this bike just wants to attack them.

Fuji make amazing bikes, they have several Grand Tour stage wins under their belt and this bike is their 2nd tier two series. It offered an amazing spec for it’s £2599 price tag but as a second owner purchase of £1350 it’s an absolute bargain.

The low weight of the bike comes from the super high modulus carbon fibre and some cutting edge technology in the way they build it. Put the power down and you’ll notice the acceleration/stiffness in equal measure. This bike is a speed machine if you’ve got the legs. The paint job is really special too. It’s an understated red, which isn’t too flashy at first, but when the sun hits it you will catch a few people checking it out on the coffee stop.

Drivetrain comes courtesy of Shimano Ultegra Di2. This means it’s an electronic shifting system with no conventional cables and 2 shift buttons on each lever. Just a light tap on these buttons will take you up/down the gears seamlessly with a lovely sound from the motor in the derailleur. Once you’ve used a Di2 system you’ll never want to go back to pressing in a shift lever again. It really is game changing.

New bikes with Di2 don’t come cheap so if you want to take your shifting electronic then the best way to do it is to buy a well cared for bike like this for around half it’s original value. It’s top tech but without the top price tag.

Gearing is Semi-Compact so 52/36 up front and 11/28 on the cassette.

The wheels on this bike are super lightweight, which helps to keep the total weight just a shade over 7kg. They spin up quickly and are tubeless ready in case you want to ditch the tubes.

The rest of the finishing kit comes from Fuji’s in house Oval Concepts. You get a carbon seat post to absorb the road noise and their lightweight 310 bars. The stem is a brand new 80mm Deda zero with a brand new band for the Di2 Junction Box.

The Tyres on this bike are the same ones it left the shop with so you can see how little mileage it has done. Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Slick’s provide excellent grip and puncture protection in all weathers.

The whole package comes together to create a truly special steed. Bike Radar did an excellent video review of the SL 2.1 where they gave it a glowing 4.5 Stars (out of 5). Check it out HERE

In preparation for sale I’ve given this bike a service and installed new gel bar tape. The gears shift perfectly and the brakes are sharp. The bike is ready to hit the road this weekend in total confidence.

If you have any questions about the bike (or road cycling in general) then just give me a shout. I’m a cycle mechanic and I prepare all the bikes I sell meticulously so that I can offer you complete piece of mind when buying a second hand road bike. If you have a bike you'd like to part exchange then that can be arranged. Just drop me a message with the details.

I can include a set of flat pedals in the sale if you need them or I can offer a range of clip in pedals for purchase.

Once again, any questions then please give me a shout and be quick. My bikes don’t last long.

Thanks…

Ryan
