Don't even know where to start with this one... I picked it up in March and I've been wrestling with the idea of keeping it for myself ever since. I've ridden it a few times and I can honestly say it is the fastest bike I have ever put my leg over. It's a real head turner and I've had a lot of compliments out on the road (followed by questions of how much it cost!)

So what's the deal? Well it's a 2018 S-Works Venge VIAS Disc in the limited edition Sagan Superstar Colourway. The photos will never do it justice but the paint job is a pearlescent silver sparkle that changes completely under different lights. There are gold highlights to compliment the sparkles and the only way to appreciate it is to stand next to it. Absolutely stunning.

The frame is constructed from top of the range S-Works Fact 11r so its as light/stiff as it gets. They spent thousands of hours in the wind tunnel to create the fastest bike that has ever come out of the Specialized factory. That might sound like marketing hype but put the power down in a sprint and this bike is like a rocket. It shocked one of my regular riding mates just how quickly I was able to pull away from him in a town sign sprint. It's unreal.

Wheels are Roval CLX 50 which come in around the £2k mark. They have ceramic speed bearings and weigh hardly anything. 50mm is the perfect depth for all day riding. Whether you're on flat or on a climb you've got the right wheels for the job. Just google the reviews for this high end wheelset. They speak for themselves.

As with most S-Works it was purchased as a frameset and the final build cost well over £10000. It has seen very low mileage since the build and that is obvious to see in the condition of the drivetrain. I've serviced the bike, replaced the hoods/bar tape, fitted NEW Conti GP5000 Tubeless 25mm tyres and bled the brakes TWICE. There was still too much travel after the first bleed but now they're absolutely perfect. The bike came to me with a single sided Dura Ace Stages Power meter so I'll be leaving it on for the new owner. A brand new official Di2 Charger is included in the sale.
